Color of the paint in daylight:<\/strong> White<\/p>\n Glows blue in the dark<\/strong><\/p>\n Two BGW9 grades are available:<\/p>\n BGW9 Grade A shows an increase in afterglow performance of over 52% after 10 hours in the dark compared to BGW9 Standard Grade<\/p>\n Super-LumiNova pigments are completely free of radioactive additives and are pure phosphorescent pigments based on alkaline earth aluminate.<\/p>\n They can be charged any number of times and release the stored light again in the dark.<\/p>\n The consequence of this behavior is an optimal application of GL for short-term and BL for long-term legibility.<\/p>\n The human eye has the highest sensitivity to the green emission when coming directly from sunlight into the dark (photopic vision). After adaptation to darkness, the human eye changes to scotopic vision with higher sensitivity but no color perception.
