Some useful information from the manufacturer:

“Super-LumiNova pigments are completely free of radioactive additives and are pure phosphorescent luminous substances based on alkaline earth aluminate. They can be recharged as often as desired and release the stored light again in the dark.”

“If the luminous markings are present on a watch in sufficient size and mass, perfect legibility according to ISO 3157 can be guaranteed for the whole night.”

The recommended mixing ratio

for hands: from [pigment]1:1[binder] to [pigment]1.5:1[binder]

for indexes on dials [pigment]2:1[binder]

A 1:1 ratio of pigment to binder is good for easy application. For a paste consistency and the brightest result, try 2:1 pigment to binder.
