Super-LumiNova pigments are absolutely free of radioactive additives and are pure phosphorescent luminous materials based on alkaline earth aluminate.

They can be charged as often as desired and release the stored light in the dark.

Some useful information from the manufacturer:

The human eye has the highest sensitivity to the green emission when coming directly from sunlight into the dark (photopic vision). After adapting to darkness, the human eye changes to scotopic vision with higher sensitivity but no color perception. In such situations, the blue emission is more visible to the human eye.

The consequence of this behavior is an optimal application in GL for short-term and BL for long-term legibility.

A 1:1 ratio of pigment and binder is good for easy application. For a paste and the brightest result, try 1.5:1 pigment to binder.
