Super-LumiNova Pigmente sind absolut frei von radioaktiven Zusatzstoffen und sind reine Phosphoreszenzleuchtstoffe auf Erdalkali-Aluminat-Basis.
Sie kรถnnen beliebig oft geladen werden und geben im Dunkeln das gespeicherte Licht wieder ab.

Das menschliche Auge hat die hรถchste Sensitivitรคt auf das grรผne Nachleuchten, d.h. wenn Sie direkt vom Tageslicht in einen dunklen Raum kommen (photopisches Sehen). Sobald sich das Auge aber an die Dunkelheit gewรถhnt hat, wechselt es auf das skotopische Sehen. Eine hรถhere Empfindlichkeit auf Licht mit reduzierter Farbwahrnehmung ist die Folge.
Die Konsequenz aus diesem Verhalten ist eine optimale Belegung in GL fรผr eine kurzfristige und BL fรผr eine langfristige Ablesbarkeit.
